2014 IABC Quill Awards

Don’t miss the Gold Quill deadline

With less than a month before the final deadline to enter the 2014 Gold Quill Awards, it’s time to get a move-on if you haven’t started your entry! Last year we recognized more than 275 communicators for their hard work and strategic thinking, and in 2014 we hope to give even more professionals the chance to show off their expertise.

Dear fellow IABC membersI would like each of you to join me in a simple challenge: To enter at least one project, program or campaign in the 2014 IABC Gold Quill Awards.You may believe that entering the IABC Gold Quill Awards is daunting and time-consuming. The truth is, it’s not! It’s actually a user-friendly process that will enable you to develop your entry from the day you start a project until you complete it. In fact, using the Gold Quill entry form as a basis for all of your projects will not only enable you to enter the awards program without much additional work, it will also ensure that your work is done according to global best practices.

See for yourself how easy it by starting your entry at You’ll find tips and information there, including The Midas Touch, an interactive guide you can use to develop your entry and to ensure that you are meeting a global standard in all of the work you do. You’ll also receive the benefit of having your entry scored by trained evaluators, all of whom are IABC members and professional communicators who will provide you with detailed feedback on your work—building your competence and setting the global standard.

You can enter your work in four divisions, subdivided into 47 categories. The super-saver deadline is 31 December 2013, and if you enter before this date, you pay only US$199 as an IABC member. That’s a savings of more than 40 percent off the regular entry fee. The early-bird deadline is 31 January 2014, and the final deadline is 10 March 2014.
